Casualty Care In The Dynamic Environment I Course

This course is basic/intermediate level instruction on the contents, use and the wounds treated by the Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK). This course provides the student with the minimal skills to utilize the components of their IFAK thus giving the ability to potentially prevent death from known causes of death in the dynamic environment. Focus is on the leading causes of death, which have been identified by the council of Tactical Combat Casualty Care as well as Tactical Emergency Casualty Care.

This course is intended for individuals with no previous medical background.

Duration: 4 hours - Lecture and Practical
